You have bought a Thermomix and now you are wondering what accessories go well with it to make it the ultimate cooking experience?

Extra Silicone Spatulas
If there is something you will get used to very quickly, it is the instruction that says: "Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula." The Thermomix comes with its own spatula, that is designed for getting the basket out of the bowl, and to open the lid (on the TM7 version only) without you touching it. But, on most recipes that require chopping you will need to scrape down the sides, so it can cook evenly. So the spatula will become one of the most used tools in your kitchen. Having a few extra will be essential, so you will always have a clean one at hand.

Dough flour remover
If you like fresh bread, and see yourself making it in your Thermomix, I would highly recommend you get this little tool to help you release the dough from the blades after the Thermomix does the kneading for you. By twisting it, left and right, and putting the bowl upside down on a floured surface, you can release the dough without getting your hands dirty, just using the power of gravity.

Egg Steamer for pouched eggs
I love poached eggs, but making them the traditional way in a pan can be a bit hit and miss and often makes a mess. You can get a steaming basket to pouch your eggs, using the steam which makes it a much better way to pouch the eggs, and you have a lot more control over it. Depending on what style you get, you might even be able to pouch eggs on the Varoma, as well as the steaming basket.

Reusable Steaming Paper made for the Varoma
If you like healthy recipes and you would like to steam your veg and fish/meat in the Varoma, the recipes often call for greaseproof paper. Instead, you can use reusable steaming paper, which is designed with the shape of the Varoma, it is designed to let the air through, making sure your food gets cooked evenly.

Rotating spatula
If you are a neat freak when it comes to scraping every bit of food out of containers, then this product is 100% what you need for your Thermomix. No more little cuts to the spatula from the blades it's easy to use and make far less waste around the cutting blades.
The link for the featured accessories in this blog post are not sponserd, it's only my honest opinion after over 10 years of owning my Thermomix and cooking with it nearly every day.
